Description:

GSM   Dart is a S African built production sports car built 1959 thru 1963.  I brought this car with me from S Africa in 2002 to Denver. It has been raced succesfully from 2002 thru 2016 when it was damaged in an accident.

It has raced competitively in GP8 and GP2 in SVRA , RMVR and HSR for 15 yrs and been continously developed over that time. it has had multiple wins in GP2 and has regularly been in the top 5 in Gp8 before GP 8  became so excessively "enhanced" with +3 liter motors.

It has since been rebuilt from the ground up. new stronger chassis, new motor and many improvements. it is in collector car condition with only two race weekends on it. See photos.

Gearbox Ford T9 5 speed.

Brakes Wilwwod disc front, stock rear drums.

Unique A arm rear end suspension with coil overs and trailing arms. Coil over front with compression struts and A arms

Dry sump oil, heat exchanger oil cooling system aluminum radiator.

Webers 45 DCOE

Car runs in GP2 or Gp8 in vintage racing.

Weight 1450 lbs in road legal trim  Aprrox 1410lbs dry in race trim.

Note: car is set up with headlights turn indicatros,,horn and has a GPS speedometer. An available  windscreen is all that is needed plus muffler to comnvert to street legal. but will not run on street gas. 

I believe there is no other Dart in the world including S Africa in this condition or as fast.
