Huffaker gearbox / transaxle
Description:
Up for sale is my rare Huffaker gearbox/transaxle for a vintage race car or street rod. This transaxle was used in many 1960s USRRC race cars like the Mark 8 & 10 Genie's, King Cobra's etc. This transaxle was the spare for my car and was gone through, inspected and new bearings and synchro's were installed where needed. This gearbox also has a limited slip posi differential and a quick-change gear setup. The Huffaker gearboxes use 1963 Borg Warner T10 transmission gears which are widely available. After 60 years of racing, I am retiring and no longer need it. The Huffaker transaxle is sold without a warranty and can be picked up at my home or shipped (shipping cost is buyers responsibility).
