1964 MG Midget/Spridget - SOLD

Description:


This car started out as an MG Midget with a 1098cc engine. It won the SCCA G Class National Championship in 1979. It was built by Doug Gutekunst of Gutekunst Fabrication, driven by Bob Griffith of Fullerton, Pa. Was purchased shortly after the race by Barney Weber of Swoyersville,Pa and continue to SCCA road race and hillclimb. The car sat for 19 yrs and was put back in service in 2013. The car was re-badged an AH Sprite during Mr. Weber's ownership. Log books denote the change and are correct. Mechanic is Jon Valentine of Dallas, Pa. It is race ready.


History

1979 G Production SCCA National Champion Raced many of the Northeast's circuits including Watkin's Glenn, Lime Rock, Summit Point, Pocono, Charlotte and the '79 Championship at Road Atlanta. Hillclimb's - Weatherly, Pagoda, Rose Valley, Duryea, Pine Grove & Giant's Despair
