One-off early 1960s Canadian built sports racer. Originally build and raced by Vince Murray. This is the 4 cylinder sister car to the Polivka 6 cylinder outboard special. Car was completed in 1965. One of the most unique, neatest, oddest and distinctive tiny vintage racers ever built. 600 lb sports racer, powered by a Mercury 650 65 Panther two-stroke engine with a centrifugal clutch and sequential shift via a Triumph 3 speed motorcycle gearbox. The original body was destroyed and in the early 70s a replacement was create. When we started to restore the car to its current condition we located a period correct Laboa body in South Dakota and configured it to the chassis. Car now has a new and proper fuel cell as required by almost every vintage racing organization. The original engine is with the car and has been freshened in preparation to be re installed, the car also comes with a spare that has not been opened but has great compression. The pictures do not clearly show, but we have also manufactured two new stainless side pods to complete the body, the original were destroyed and had not been replaced until we started work on the car. Car sits on complete set of brand new wheels and mounted with new never run Dunlop Racing tires.


History

Car was campaigned in the late 60s and 70's by builder Vince Murray. States that he lead 19 of a 20 lap race at Mosport in the rain leading a pack of Can Am cars until the chain to the final drive slipped sprocket. Performance Data
