Description:

The car was a street car and sold to a German in 1986. He transformed it into a race car and drove it successfully. In March 1992 I bought the Elan: Dr. Thomas Kargus. Shortly after, I had an accident in Zaandvort and the car was checked and repaired by Tony Thompson, a Lotus specialist in the UK. He fixed all technical issues and changed several things for the better, such as suspension, engine and so on. A few years later, the body was made into a light weight version. No races have been driven in 2018 and 2019 after being part of the dutch NKHTGT for several years. Further information: - Engine renewal at the latest after 15 races - Gear box renewal every year - Suspension check and repair if needed every winter including bearings, shocks and bushes - Diff overhaul when friction was weak - Oils were changed every race Status: - Engine and gear box ran for about one season, either one or half hour races - Diff was used two seasons - Mag wheels pretty new - Second gear box will be made new (Dog type) - Long diff was only driven once for 12 laps on the Nordschleife - Fire extinguisher must be renewed - Front screen could be changed Sales include: - New second gearbox - Long diff (3.9) - 4 Wheels Revolution - second Fueltank for long distance races - Rain stablizier - Second silenzer fpr special circuits - All liquids and brake pads new
