Description:
Professionally maintained by Lindstrand Motorsports, Darien, WI. Race ready with extensive history with all records and previous owners known. Operating video available upon request. BRIC 2002 Road America Concours Winner and Best Race Car in 2002 and this car was the 1985 Canadian champion as an AC Sports Racer. Built by Alex Francis and Bill Harris in England and returned to original configuration in 1993. All plumbing replaced in 2018 including donuts. The car has been run most months since racing stopped in 2014 but Lindstrand Motorsports has continued to tune and maintain the car since. Raced predominantly at Elkhart Lake, Grattan, Gingerman, and Blackhawk. Changed color, new fiberglass in '01, to Ferrari red after complete restoration and safety improvements following '00 crash in Canada Corner. My fastest time at Elkhart was a 2:36, and I have been the only driver since 1997 and loved this car for a long, long time. With racing friends no longer able to race, it's time for a new owner to treasure this car.
