Offered for sale is a 1969 Alexis MK 15 Formula Ford (chassis #41) racecar. Alexis was founded by Alex Francis and Bill Harris, and later Allan Taylor replaced Harris as designer. The team had a great deal of success with their MK 14 in the late 1960's, winning more races than any other car. Including the Lotus 51. The MK 15 replaced the MK 14 in 1969, and only about 70 cars were built. The car retains it's correct Ford / Kent Engine, Hewland MK IV Gearbox, Radiator, Exhaust, Break Calipers, Windscreen, and many other parts, as well as the original Logbook and Alexis VIN Tag. This is a perfect car to restore for Historic / Vintage Formula Ford racing, or as a center piece in your collection Inly a handful of these exist in unrestored condition.
