General

·        This 2017 Wolf Racing Car GB08 SM is a single-seat, FIA-homologated race car that was developed for competition in sports-prototype racing series such as the Italian Prototypes Championship, Speed EuroSeries Championship, SCCA, and Spring Mountain events. This car has been raced in SVRA Events in the LMP3 class for the past 2 years.  Power is from a 2.5-liter Honda K24 inline-four with 4Pistons 400 HP build paired with a Sadev SL82r six-speed sequential transaxle featuring paddle shifters and torque biasing limited-slip differential. The car features some vinyl wrap over some of the carbon fiber bodywork, Staggered-width 13″ OZ Racing forged Magnesium Wheels, AIM Smarty Cam with GPS, Brembo F3 HRB brakes, Push Rod Double Wishbone Suspension, custom built Ohlin Shocks, a multi-function steering wheel with an LCD display, a Schroth harness, and a fire suppression system. This also comes with set of spare parts, special tools, an additional full set of Magnesium Wheels with slick tires, an additional full set of Magnesium Wheels with new rain tires, and a Texas bill of sale.  The car width is 73”, length is 185”, & dry weight is 1232 lbs.  This car is setup for 2 way radio communications.

Engine Rebuild

·        2017 Wolf Racing Cars GB08SM Race Car equipped with a 2.5L 4 Cylinder by 4Piston Racing.  This engine is rated by 4Pistions at 400 HP up to 10k RPM (734 bhp/tonne).  The engine was fully rebuilt in March 2024 with less than 1 hour runtime.  This engine has aluminum block, aluminum K20 head, with special built header & exhaust system to fit the K20 head.  Map #1 is set to Rev Limit at 8700 RPM & Map #2 is set to Rev Limit at 9500 RPM.

Transmission Rebuild

·        Power is sent to the rear wheels via a paddle-shifted Sadev SL82r 6 Speed Sequential Gearbox which was rebuilt by Sadev in Feb. 2023.  The gear positions are driven by Automac electronic shift system.  There has been only 3 racing event on this car since the transmission rebuild.

Ohlins Shocks Upgrade

·         The Ohlins Shocks with reservoirs were supplied by Spring Mountain Racing custom built to their Wolf specifications by Ohlins Service Center.  The Ohlins Shocks are three-way adjustable (low speed compression, high speed compression, & rebound).

·         Laptop computer loaded with Life Racing Software to view data logs, monitor, dash layout.  This laptop has the Wolf Software Key which allows it to fully program ECU Calibrations, & Configurations.  This allows the owner to fully tune the engine, setup to 11 Maps to setup Maps such as Enduro Mode, Pit Mode, Rain Mode, Normal Mode, Boost Mode, & etc.

·         Loading Frame which allows the nose section to be removed & positioned over the cockpit, this shortens the car length by 53” & makes the car easier to load allowing steeper ramp angles.
