Has race history, in 1985 was rebodies to compete in the IMSA GT circuit. Sold in 1985 to Craig Rubright, sponsored by Anheuser-Busch raced 1985-1987 in the 24hrs of Daytona and 12 hrs of Sebring.
Sold in 1988 to Greg Donahue (Has Been Racing) spomsored by Corvette Fever Magazine and Vette Brakes he completed in SCCA-ASR GT1 races.
Sold in 2002 to Ron Bauer, who continue the GT-1 racing history with HSR, SVRA and SCCA. SCCA CFR Club Champion in 2002 & 2015.
Participated in the Historic 24 Minutes of Daytona and was displayed among the legends in Sebring and was diplayed in the Rolex Daytona Exhibition celebrating the grand reopening of Daytona.
