Track prepared, street legal. The best of both worlds. This professionally set up Lotus Exige was expertly built to be the ultimate track car by V2 Motorsports of Sterling Heights, Michigan. Safety on the track was the first issue addressed and this Exige comes with a custom roll cage, a full fire suppression system in the engine bay and cabin and 6 point harnesses securing both the driver and passenger. Handling was upgraded next with the full V2 product suite including steering arms, toe link brace and Nitron Triples. A few small power upgrades including a Lotus Sport ECU, Larani Exhaust and cold air intake were added but the engine was primarily left stock. When the bill was tallied up, over $55,000 of parts and labor were needed to make this one of the best looking and best handling Lotus Exiges ever created. Colin Chapman would be proud. While this Lotus looks at home at the track it is also very much street legal. With a virtually stock drivetrain, this Lotus is as reliable as it is fun to drive. It may be the best drive-to-the-track HPDE car ever built and certainly one of the most capable. While this car is not for the faint of heart, it has no equal. With only 19,556 miles on the odometer, the car presents like it has much less. Maintenance on this car has been meticulous and the car has seen rain less often than track records. And lastly, for track geeks, a full AiM Race Telemetry system comes fully installed. Nothing like taunting your Porsche friends at the track with graphs and telemetry data after you lap them.
