We purchased this race car directly from Dale Earnhardt inc. (DEI) 8/14/02 after being refurbished from the 2002 Watkins Glen race. It was one of two Budweiser sponsored road course cars driven by Dale Earnhardt Jr. Gene Felton raced it at road Atlanta, Daytona,and Watkins Glen 2002-2004 and then in storage until being invited to the SVRA Indy event and prepared for the 2014 season of vintage racing.As a 78 year old driver with neck and back problems we were unable to race in 2014. the car is race ready with zero time since last prep.
