History



Competition History

The car achieved best if show at California Healy week, 1995. It was the subject of a feature article
in European Car Magizine, June, 1995. It won 1st place in the sports and competion class at the
Le Cercle Concours July, 1995. The car took 3rd place in the Sports and Competition Class and
captured the prestigious Road & Track Award at the Newport Concours, October 1995. There is a
photo of award ceremony in Road & Track Magizine, January 1996. It also won 1st place in the British class
at the Muckenthaller Concours, May of 1996, and 1st place in the honored class, May, 1997.
The car is also the cover car for the book Austin-Healy 100 & 3000 by John Helig.

Fuel System

• 24 Gallon capacity is fed by two S.U. pumps to twin S.U. carbs fitted withcold air intake pipe.
  

Oil/Water System

• full flow oil cooler with renewable filter element is fitted.
  
• oil capacity is 12 quarts.

• All Aluminium
  
• Old English White over Lobelia Blue, urethane paint in excellent condition.
  

Chassis

• stock steel ladder frame with rivited Aluminium substructure, painted Silver.
  
• rebuilt original Armstrong RXP shocks.
  
• independent coil springs controlled by double acting Armstrong RXP hydraulic shocks, inter connected by an anti roll bar.
  
• semi elliptic springs controlled by rebuilt original double acting Armstrong RXP hydraulic shocks and panhard bar.
  
• stock S spec, rebuilt.
  
• Dunlop disc brakes on front and rear wheels.
  
• new 48 spoke wire wheels painted Old English White per original, new Avon radial tires 165-15.
  
• 1888 Lbs per specification dry.

• new original style seats with vented backrests in Connelly Leather.
