This is a pre 1961 six cylinder 3.8 Cosworth Race engine with D type cams completely rebuilt with head off for inspection. Cosworth tuned head with big valves 2" ex 1"7/8 inlet.With D -type polished cams and Cosworth 10-1 pistons,vernierd to accept big valves which are fitted. A complete new timing chest,i.e. chains,slippers,top and bottom sprockets,the head is ported and polished and S type and a complete spare S type head comes with the engine in case of future trouble,the rods are 4.2 polished and balanced with new little end bushes drilled to give oil access to gudgeon pins,a very good crank with new shells in mains and big ends all chemicaly cleaned with new core plugs to fit,all ancilaries ,dyn,dist,w/pump ally E type sump,with oil cooler take off ,a light C type flywheel and G T 40 clutch all balanced to crank by Brian Walsh Newton Abbott,comes with Tripple webber inl manifold and three 45 DCOE 9s which have been completely rebuilt with replated linkages and 65mm trumpets,this engine was out of a Costin Lister and has a race tuned 42"primary exhauste system, which turns out just in front of the rear n/s wheel the eng also has a oil cooler take off and lightened eng mnts,plus a new getrag convertion kit and 3.8 bellhousing.
