Description
Here is a complete Nationals preped engine. Not raced since early 90's. Periodically started. Just removed head and oil pan for cleaning and inspection. Leak down was good, less than six percent. Bearings all check in spec and look good. Rods appear to be prepared and Shot peened, Aluminum Flywheel, High compression pistons, race cam, so everything looks race prepared. Cam is nice with no pitting. Head is off for inspection, but can be installed for shipping at no charge. Has a steel head, but also included is a bare Aluminum head, and a complete aluminum Head with big valves and a crack that needs repair at the guide. Carbs are Scca and vintage correct and race prepared. This engine won Nationals on the West coast in a 1600 Roadster. Steel oil pan, Header included. I can supply a reference from selling another race engine on this web site. Car currently has 2000 engine, so I am probably not going to use this engine. What a deal at half the price of a Formula Ford motor with way more Hi Po parts.
