This is a type T58 1300cc Gordini motor. It was built by the Gordini Competition Dept. of Renault for use in Renault-Alpine Prototypes competing at Le Mans in the late '60's. It has an aluminum head and used Weber 40DCOE carbs which are not with the motor. There is a header system. Motor was last raced in a Lotus 23 in SCCA competition in the late '7o's. Has been in dry storage since removal from the car.
