Description

The engine was rebuilt by the owner with machining by Nick Stagg and dynoed by Tim Swadkin at Warrior. The spec is rally, and it is installed at present in a Escort Mark 1 RS1600 in the UK. It is all steel except for the crank which is a cast tuftrided original one.

The engine has done four hillclimbs/sprints this season, equal to about half an hour at racing speeds.

ignition is distributor with Lumenition.
8" standard type competition clutch is included
wet sump at present but could be dry sump
Max power is 178.65 at 7500, torque 138 ft/lb at 6500
