DescriptionThis Formula Continental has been meticulously prepared. The current owner purchased it in virtually perfect condition last year, with a very high level of finish throughout. For example, the wishbones and rockers were polished and plated. He had a minor wall bang in his first outing with the car. There was no chassis damage but some wishbones were crumpled. Wanting to preserve the high level of finish of the car he removed the good side pieces as well so they could be exactly copied by a professional fabricator. The wings had seen better days so a new pair of '95 spec wings were fabricated for good measure. He also sent the engine back to Farley to be freshened.All the components have been completed. The engine is installed. The owner has had a professional race mechanic in who has assembled all four corners so the car sits on it's wheels. Some minor electrical loose ends were completed and the engine now runs. All that is needed to make the car complete is some minor body work. There are some spares with the car. This is surely one of the better site bargains.
