Engine

• Ford Kent 1600cc
• lower end was built by Clive Mortimer (Canadian Engine Builder)
• present owner has not touched lower end
• Ivey head & intake, installed last year
• carburetor was modified by Dixon
• wrapped headers
• collector & tail pipe are chromed
• Van Diemen front oil pump with British Straight threads was replaced by a Pace side pump w/AN fittings
• oil pump does not leak

Fuel System

• original fuel cell, tested in 1996, filled w/anti slosh material
• new aluminum closure was built in 1996

Oil/Water System

• side water rads

Electrical System

• 12V, new battery installed 1999 mid season

Gearbox

• Mk-8 Hewland, 7:31 ring & pinion for Solo
• few spare ratios
• case was repaired prior to purchase, no leaks

Final Drive

• Hewland in unit w/gearbox
