Description
This RT4 Ralt Formula Atlantic is in good condition having undergone a major rebuild by the previous owner that consisted of: complete engine tear-down and rebuild using a T11 block, new tub by Bahner in 1984, rebuilt gearbox and suspension. The car looks very presentable. The engine was meticulously rebuilt. The suspension was rebuilt completely. The car has not been raced since the rebuild. Requires alignment, brakes checked and fuel cell.
History
Early RALT RT4 built specifically for the Atlantic series where it competed on the west coast at venues such as Long Beach and Laguna Seca, always finishing well. Never any crashes or accidents. Bahner did a retub on it in 1984 and the car was used by TOYOTA motor company as a display vehicle in spite of the fact that it has a FORD engine inside. The car did the show circuit carrying the TOYOTA logo on the body work! It received a complete rebuild by its previous owner who installed the rebuilt FORD engine. The car also had a complete suspension rebuild. The car has been in storage for 6 years. The engine runs very strong and the car shows very well with nice body work.
