For sale is a recently restored Porsche 912. Pretty much everything on this car is new or newly redone. Body was stripped to bare metal and repaired wherever needed and painted with Sikkens paint. Colors are exact paint code to Porsche Gulf livery. Engine was completely torn down and rebuilt with new big bore kit, Skirmats prepped head, and restored and bored by Bieker engineering Solex PII 4 carbs. A new deep sump pan and remote oil cooler were added as well as new skid plate. The 5 speed 901 gear box was prepped by Ecurie. A new aluminum ATL cell was installed as were new gauges. The car has been on scales and dialed in as best possible. Total track time is roughly 6 hours. This is a well dialed in, reliable and easy to drive race car. At the 2010 Road and Track race car concours at the Kohler Intl. Classic at Road America this car was the reserve winner in it's class. A very complete spares package comes with the car and I have a small open trailer that could be worked into the deal if you need one. I also have the receipts for all of the work and parts. Since listing this car in August I have pretty much decided to forgo racing as there are some other things I would like to pursue. As a result I will include my driver gear which includes a like new Sparco suit and gloves, a sport model Hans device, and a bunch more spares i.e fuel jugs and so forth. As this package stands it would include almost everything you would need to go racing. Also I am lowering the asking price to 25,000 and would consider reasonable offers.
