Description
Restored by Mark Linstone in England during 1999, Race prepared by Simon Diffey & Jeremy Brewster.
History
Built in 1960 by a friend of Peter Monteverdi, at the same time as Monteverdi’s MBM Formula Juniors.
The running gear (suspension, wheels, brakes, etc) of the Sauter are Porsche RSK, probably taken from the RSK that
Monteverdi bought to provide the engine for the MBM Formula 1 car.
The Sauter is totally unique, it was the only one built and until 1999 had only 2 owners and is extremely original, with
documented period racing history.
