Description
This example of the Maserati Brothers championship-winning Formula Junior was found in remarkably
complete but unrestored condition in Indiana. The only item missing from the car is the original Nardi
steering wheel. The car was completely disassembled for restoration and much work has been completed.
The chassis and corners have been reassembled and are ready to accept the bodywork. A new bonnet
has been fabricated to replace the original which had been sandblasted. The rest of the original
bodywork is considered usable. The only damage to the original bodywork was at the very front of
the nose, which had been crumpled, but this is repairable. The engine is complete but disassembled
and appears to be the OSCA competition version of the FIAT 1100 complete with induction and exhaust
system.
