This is a factory original, 1967 Dodge Coronet Hardtop Race Hemi 425 HP Drag Car with just 5,300 miles. Declared the finest original Mopar Showcar in the world by experts, this White w/Black interior beauty is a Mopar showcar Gold Award winner with heavy documentation including the original Window Sticker, Broadcast Sheet and Mopar Certicard. Five years ago it had just 200 miles (see article in MuscleCar Magizine August 1991). It's an incredible Dual Quad snarling hemi-beast that has been meticulously maintained all its life by absolute Mopar fanatics. Dodge W023 Certified by Galen V. History

Chrysler's Golden Days of musclecar performance included the top powerplant of the Pentastar team the Hemi and its HiPerformance companions the 440, the Wedge and Max Wedge Engines. They became the powerhouses of Dodge and Plymouth performance, turning granny grocery getters' into racing world record holders. Dodge and Plymouth offered Super Duty, Super Stock Packs, which were built to win races on Sunday and sell more cars on Monday. Most years it worked out that way. However in 1967 when Chrysler got ticked off with NHRA, AF/X and Super Stock Racing in general, they turned down the performance wick just a tad. To keep faith with Mopar enthusiasts, Dodge packaged their 440 Coronet with a Super Stock option: W023. Plymouth had a matching Super Stock option called the R)23 based on their Belvidere II. This particular appliance white Hemi Car looks like Grandmas car except for a couple of things: its W023 Hemi Option coding and its 5,300 original miles. The owner of this car knows its history like his own family tree. From its pie-plate hubcaps to its 426 Hemi it is all there, just like the day it left the assembly line.
