One of the rarest of all Eagles due to the extensive use of Titanium (bulkhead, spindles, rear uprights, stub axles, roll cage, suspension, rotors, wheel nuts, etc).
There were only two Titanium Eagles ever produced this car was the showcase car for the private team of Jet Engineering to market its
Titanium Technology and their ability to produce specialized components.
The "Eagles" are the most desirable and valuable of all Indy cars. Being American built and using an aluminum stock block Chevrolet engine,
Gurney set the cornerstone of what is described as the most successful and competitive racing program known as the "PPG Indy Car Racing Series".
This car was featured in "Open Wheel" magazine, October 1981 and also won the "PPG Paint Award" at Indy with its aesthetically beautiful
paint scheme.
This car is professionally maintained by Indy Car specialists.
Chassis No. 9 is also available. This 1983 Eagle was driven by Greg Leffler as a team back up car. All parts are on the car and it is 90% complete - needs finishing.
