This is a unique track-only car. Retired from the street about 8 years ago and used for five to ten track days per year since then (exclusively at Monticello Motor Club in upstate NY). It has always been professionally maintained and I never cut any corners in servicing the car. Full professionally-installed APR wide-body kit (necessary to cover the 275mm tires at all four corners) including APR mirrors and front and rear spoilers. This is a very safe car: full rally cage built to FIA specs. Sparco seats (driver side with halo), full five-point Schroth belts on both seats. Detachable steering wheel with Works Bell hub. Full instrumentation including digital air/fuel gauge and they all work (including the usual-finicky factory RS oil temp gauge--I had a bung welded into the oil pan in order to get rid of stock sensor in the oil drain plug). All the windows are lightweight plastic except the windshield. Glass was retained up front because I wanted to be able to use the wipers. The plastic windshield that came with the window kit is included. ShepTrans close-ratio 5-speed road race gearbox (completely overhauled last year by ShepTrans, and used two track days since). Cusco differentials are used throughout the drivetrain. Engine build by CBRD (Chad Block Racing Development, York PA) has 355 bhp at the wheels with a very wide torque band. Chad also fabricated the stainless exhaust system and the car is quiet, never had a problem with track noise regulations. The front suspension control-arms are of Japan-market-only chrome-moly fabrication using sphericals (Heim joint) throughout (also only a few track sessions since all the spherical joints were replaced at considerable expense...). WORKS Performance camber plates. Rear upper control arms are also Heim-joint and also basically brand new. Ohlins dampers front and rear. All the stock suspension pieces except the stock dampers are included. Brakes are Stop-Tech, 6-pot up front and 4-pot rears (full big-brake kit). The brake rotor high-hats and fasteners were all replaced last year and have only two track sessions on them. Carbon-fiber hood (stock aluminum item included as well). Three full sets of wheels and tires included. One set of slicks is on the car, an identical set of wheels with new, unused slicks is included and the third set (also included) has all-weather tires mounted with perhaps two track sessions. All the wheels are in excellent condition. The paint is in very good condition. I realize that there are probably not a lot of drivers who want or need a car like this so consequently I have set a low starting price. This is a no-reserve auction.
