Professionally prepared and maintained and currently in compliance with IMSA Lites L2 regulations - 2011 Championship winning car with record breaking 9 wins in a row. Also won in its only 2012 race event too. 2007 year car, updated to 2011 specification (no 2012 aero upgrades) as follows: Rolling chassis (NO engine, but the complete installation kit is available and with the car. Just build an engine and you have everything to drop it in). Was last fitted with a Kawasaki ZX10 2006 spec. West full dry sump system (scavenge pump rebuilt 2012) Quaife limited slip differential (factory rebuilt 2012) Lightweight driveshaft option installed Proshift PS3 paddle shift system with Titanium paddles (fully programmable system with flat shift and auto blip downshift). Aero: Full length tunnel floor (Carbon, new 2012 with two races on it), rear underfloor fences, front dive planes and rear wing (2011 spec high wing), 2011 spec splitter. Aim MXL dash and data logger - logs all usual engine parameters, brake pressure, steering, GPS speed (etc). Smartycam compatible (just some tyraps and some velcro and it could be fitted in 10 minutes). Full Carbon Fibre body with carbon dive planes and rear wing. 2 sets of spare wheels (Jongbloed centre lock style) Freshly rebuilt ST44 dampers - dynoed and checked after last running. Full set of springs for IMSA Lites (700-1400lbs) Full set of sprockets/gear ratios eligible for IMSA Lites (15,16,17 tooth front sprocket and 44, 45, 46, 47 tooth rear sprockets) Cooper slicks and rains available (used and new) Front and rear quick lift jacks. The car was subject to a full professional rebuild at the end of the 2010 and 2011 seasons and has only completed 1 race event in 2012. Rebuild work completed involved (among other things) a full chassis strip and inspection, repairs to all bodywork, full repaint, new brake discs, rebuilt master cylinders/calipers; removal, cleaning and refitting of the fuel cell, differential service and new bearings, wiring loom etc. The car has has an end of season inspection and re-prep ready for 2013 but the Lites L2 series is no longer continuing so the car is for sale. Some spares are available on request. This car would make a perfect DSR or CAMS spec car (contact Simon for further information). Note: The images of the cockpit and pedal box were when the car was being prepped for a poured seat. There is not usually cardboard in the race car and it was there to stop the foam getting into all the wrong places!
Current owner has competed in IMSA Lites L2 in 14 races total during the 2010-2013 seasons.
