This car was built by Jerry Mong's Bobsy race car shop and originally owned by Jim Trueman and raced by him to an SCCA national championship in 1975. The last owner raced it until a minor shunt and work forced him to put his racing on hold. The car is currently a roller with its original SR-5 chassis, gearbox and body-work forming the basis of the car. The previous owner had been restoring it to go vintage racing and all work was done to a high standard. With its known history it would be welcomed at just about any vintage event in the country and be very competitive in SVRA Group 7 at half the price of a McLaren, Chevron or Lola. It would require very minimal work (and an engine) to bring this car back to racing form. Paint it your own color scheme and shake up SVRA Group 7 or paint it in 1975 Red Roof Inns national championship color scheme and take it to Monterey. The car also comes with a damaged SR-6 tub (see photos).
Too much to list. Three log-books filled.
