Description
One of the last Winkelmanns built that will qualify for Vintage FF1600. Easily fits 6'-2" driver. All new plumbing, hardware (all AN), and electrical, incl complete wiring harness, within last 2 years. Very strong Loyning engine, less than 6 hrs time. Setup developed over several test days at Laguna Seca and Infineon/Sears Pt., and all notes will go with car. Seller will include one weekend of free support within California, and will do same elsewhere if travel expenses are covered by buyer. Can also be run in current SCCA as Club Ford (has req'd knee roll hoop).
History
The WDF-3 was the last Winkelmann model that qualifies for Monoposto-rules Vintage FF, and this car was one of the last WDF-3's built, 23rd of 28 cars. Raced in Midwesdt as SCCA Club racer for many years, then Vintage since '98. Original chassis data plate still there. Comfortable and easy car to drive quickly, and easy to set up.
