In the year 2000, Mitsubishi Motors launched a limited series model to commemorate rally ace Tommi Makinen's prodigious year of winning his fourth consecutive Drivers' Championship in the World Rally Championship. This vehicle is one of those few examples. This EVO was imported into the United States as a competition vehicle and it will be sold as such (without a title) meaning that it is not viable for street use in the United States. The major highlights of this vehicle are as follows: Scotia White exterior w/black interior (only 450 km) Left Hand Drive 2.0-liter 16-valve DOHC turbocharged engine with intercooler (approx. 310 bhp) Titanium finned RS turbocharger Intercooler with driver activated water spray bar 5-Speed manual transmission Tarmac suspension that is tuned to give improved initial response on asphalt surfaces multi-link rear suspension Active Yaw rear differential Front Helical Limited Slip Differential 17 Enkei/Ralliart wheels with Bridgestone Potenza S-01 225/45ZR17s Brembo brake system (red 4-pot calipers in front w/322 mm rotors same as Porsche 993, red 2 pot calipers in the rear) Adjustable rear wing Black and Red Recaro seats with T. It represents the pinnacle of development of this vehicle. The only way to describe how this car drives is completely amazing. This is an absolutely straight, no stories vehicle - everything is "as new". No hits, no dings, no scratches, always stored in a heated facility and started regularly. As you can see in the pictures, the plastic is still on the back seat (and plastic for the fronts has been retained). This vehicle has not been mistreated - no track time and it has not been over 4500 rpm. It was purchased with the intention of turning into a rally car but, other projects prevented this from coming to fruition. There are numerous possibilities for such a unique vehicle: rally car, track day car, autocross champ, or just a really cool car to take to a show (you definitely wont see many around).
