Piper Roadster sre #004(the only one known to survive out of 4 built); 11 coupes built, 2 alive in the US) mfg 1964. 1.85 liter Lotus Twin Cam 194hp per dyno sheet, 5spd Hewland: 9:33 CWP(3.444):1st 11/28(2.545); 2nd 15/25(1.667); 3rd 16/24(1.500); 4th 22/29(1.318); 5th 24/27(1.125). Brakes: Girling 9.25/8.75 with new Spitfire front and T19 rear rotors. Eibach springs(150F/180R), all new Heim-joints, and new AN fasteners. Adjustable air scoop. Fire system plumbed to driver, fuel cell. Motivated seller retiring from racing due to age.
History
Previously restored by Peter Denty(UK in 1983) followed by complete frame up restoration in 1994 by seller including new rolled aluminum rocker panels, fiberglass body with molds included.
