Description
This is a 1965 Morgan 4/4 Series V competition race car. Peter Morgan signed the glove box cover at the Monterey Historics. It is a right hand drive car. This Morgan is fast and fun to drive. It is accepted at all vintage events and is very reliable. The car has been prepared to race and has a long list of equipment. Some of the more important features include: 1559cc Ford engine, balanced with steel crank and rods, close ratio gear box with alloy bellhousing, fire system, fuel cell, replacement frame and negative camber sub-frame upfront. The car has a full roll bar with lateral tubes that tie into a hoop under the dash. I have driven this car for 5 years and would enter it as is in an event today. The car was used for trials in England in the 60's as a street and autcross car in the US in the 70's and equipped as a race car in the 80's. It has been a dedicated race car since then. It was raced with SVRA in the Southeast US until I bought it in 1998 and subsquently raced on the West Coast. It has participated in the major events here: Montery Historics(3X's), Seattle, Portland, and Coronado as well as many club events. The car is registered and licensed with a California title.
