Description
1965 Forsgrini Vintage Sports Racer. I am the forth owner since new and I have all of the providance on the car including photos from the 60's and 70's. I have all the prior owners names and numbers. This car was one of twelve built. There were six built with this body. There are only three that are known of to be left. The other two are on the west coast. The car was built by Lyle Forsgren and his brother. Lyle worked for Boeing Aerospace and had built many race cars including Formula 5000's. The car under went a throughough restoration in 2002. The car is extremely fast. The car was designed for a Twin Cam engine. I purchased the car with a Cosworth 1000 cc engine that produced approximately 95 hp. I have just purchased a Lotus Twin Cam fresh off the Dyno from Ivy engines. The car has two wins and a second the last three races it was run. Podium finish at the 2003 Zippo Vintage Race and a 1st and 2nd at the final race at VIR. This all with the 1000 cc motor. The car is quite beautiful and extremely reliable since the restoration. Four wheel disc brakes Magniesium wheels extra body work and some spares to along as well. The new motor needs to be installed and the car rewired. An exhaust system has to be made for the new chassis. You wont be dissapointed in this cars performance. You can run and beat the Lotus 23's for half the price. The car was restored by SVRA Mechanic of the year Dean Hutchinson of GMT Racing. GMT has any additional information as to what has been done during the resto process. The car was Ferrari Red but I have restored it to the orriginal McLaren Orange. The car can be finished if so desired and made race ready for a fee.
History

Recent Competition History
I have won or placed every time I have raced the car durring the last two tears I have owned it. Podium finish and class win at 2003 Zippo Vintage festival, Winner and second at VIR fall finale
