Description
This is a rare, historically significant aircooled Super Vee. It is one of only 5 production models built by Eugene Beach's Competition Components in Clearwater, Fla. The successful SportsRacer and Formula Vee builder was selected by VW to build the first SV prototype used for SCCA approval of the new Formula series in 1969. The car has been successfully raced in CO and NM for several years, underwent restoration in 1995, and an engine/carburator rebuild by Performance Motorsports in July 2003. It has the required safety gear, chromed suspension components, full instrumentation, and cockpit adjustable brake bias. Spares include all body molds. It is an excellent, quick, reliable and thoroughly sorted-out example of an early 70's vintage Formula racer.
