Description
This car is in perfect race condition. The car has been operated from May 1980 to August 1981 by Tyrrell Racing Organization. Last race was the Austrian GP 1981, when the car was driven by Michele Alboreto Other drivers: Eddie Cheever, Derek Daly, Jean-Pierre Jarier. Even if the car was only 6th in the F1-championship, because Tyrrell did not have the resources needed to be in top position, its design is almost a copy of the Williams FW 07, the most successful car at that time and still in todays FIA Thoroughbred Grand Prix Championship. It has the full potential to be a front running car.
The car has current FIA papers and a recent crack test, new fuel cell, and two new sets of spare BBS wheels
History
A well built clone Tyrrell of the Williams FW07. The car did not have the expected success due to heavy accidents attributed to structural failures. The 010 marched on into the 1981 season andw as sixth and eighth in the Constructors' Championship. Every car but two scored points in 1981.
