This is the ex Howden Ganley McLaren M10B, whith which he made it to runner-up Position to Peter Gethin’s McLaren in the 1970 F5000 championship, before he joined the BRM F1 team for the 1971 season. Howden Ganley sold the car in pieces in 2001 for an initial rebuild (direct communication with Howden Ganley and 2001 FIA documents available), and was then purchased by the current owner to undergo a comprehensive and complete restoration and development for racing. The car is in excellent condition throughout and has a very strong Weber fed Small Block built to correct specs (detailed engine build sheet available). The gearbox has new gears and dogrings and is precisely adjusted. The clutch is new too. The car has been driven at show races and has always pleased with its performance, classic looks and reliability. The car also accomodates tall drivers (I am 6ft2"). A custom trailer and many spares are included in the price.
