According to the owner this car was originally a Doug Shierson owned / Howdy Holmes driven car. It is a very rare car that
Shierson had converted to Atlantic specs. This car was featured in article in SportsCar September 1979 page 35.
History
The car was in storage between 1980 and 1990. Since 1990 it has only been run in Solo events.
The engine cams have been replaced with autocross cams. It has a strong Cosworth BDD with only 8 solo events
per year for the last four years since rebuild. 45mm Weber carbs. Fire system is removed from the car, it
needs to be reinstalled.
Recent Competition History
Car has only been run in approximately 8 Solo II events a year since 1990.
