Description
One of the finest March Wildcats in the country. No Tub damage. It has the original Engine type, Fuel Injection and Engine Electronics Package as was used in competition. This is not a retro-fitted stockcar package. It is the real deal. The pictures of the car in Blue & Red paint were taken at the end of the 2004 season just before the car was taken out of service for a "Freshen-up". 1991 or 1992 (depending on who you talk to) was the last year for production of these cars and only a hand full of MK-II's were produced. It is fresh and ready to race anywhere. The final assembly will be completed in the next few weeks. I have owned the car for 5 years and found the car to be user friendly and extremely reliable thanks to the Buick Fuel Injection System. If you can finish the race.... this car will be there for you. Reliable, Reliable,Reliable and user friendly too!!!!!!!!
History
The car was first driven by Mark Smith in 2 Indy-lites races in 1992. In 1996 it was campaigned by Loophole Racing in the AIS Championship with Jacques Lazier (just after Jacques won the SCCA National Championship in Formula Vee) where he won the AIS Rookie of the Year Title in this car. Then the car was purchased by Truscelli Racing in 1998 and was again campaigned in conjunction with Loophole Racing in AIS competition by Joe Truscelli who also won a Rookie of the Year Title. In 1999 the car was purchased by ADI Motorsports and has been campaigned in conjunction with Loophole Racing in the USSS Racing Championship with other drivers including Doug Sharp (United States Olympic Bronze Medalist) and Pikes Peak Hill Climb Winners David Donner & Butch Hardman.
Recent Competition History
Most impressive race, AIS race @ Puerto Rico with Lazier winning the Pole and leading 58 of 60 laps. Best time @ Willow springs is 1:12 also with Lazier.
