Description
Chassis number 1 of 7 total produced. (number plate reads ‘729-1’) Completely disassembled and restored. Motor was completely rebuilt with new crank, pistons & rings, oil pump, cam & lifters, crank, rods, etc. fresh cylinder head by Tom Andresen. Frame disassembled, beadblasted, repainted. Duplicate new aluminum sheetmetal pieces were fabricated and riveted to frame to replace the original panels. Body panels were completely stripped and repainted with red/yellow paint scheme. The car has been completely gone through and is ready to race. Not raced since restoration, but has been track tested, this car is showroom perfect and race ready. Spare parts include multiple gear ratio sets, extra cylinder head, rain tires on steel wheels, etc. etc. The car was owned by a local racer since at least 1983, and was sold & restored in 2001.
