Description
The owner previous to the current had this car for over ten years. The car was completely restored by
Motorsport Promotions to a very high standard of originality. For instance, all suspension
components retain the original metalastic bushes. The prior owner is an IMSA champion and
considered this the best handling car he has ever driven. Despite the historically
correct preparation the car has been a consistent race winner. An earlier 23 converted
to 23B spec the car has a very potent Ivey-prepared twincam. The gearbox was rebuilt with a new ring
and pinion at the beginning of this season. The car also has
double adjustable aluminum body Konis (which may also explain the exemplary handling). This is a premium
example of the car which defines the sixties sports racer. The present owner wishes to sell only because
he covets a wings and slicks car.
