History

Bill Friend restored this car in 1982 and competed in various events in England including winning his class at the AMOC Championship in 1983 and setting lap records at Brands Hatch and Thruxton.

George Nuse purchased the car in the mid eighties and ran the car out of Atlanta Ga. for a few years; his log book shows 6 poles and 6 wins at various races. Nuse had the motor rebuilt by Continental Coachworks in Atlanta to 1500cc with a custom steel crank, steel rods, forged pistons, 5-bearing cam carrier, stage 3 cam.
