Description This very original car was the object of a complete professional restoration early in the decade by one of the acknowledged Lotus 23 specialists in the US. Professionally maintained since, under the current owner, who is a Nationally ranked Club Racer, it has been highly developed. It is unbeaten by another Lotus 23 under his ownership. The handling is now examplary, with the car being lowered as much as possible and the ride controlled by Konis and Eibachs. The all-steel twincam has only 3 races since a complete rebuild and puts out 200 Hp. and in the owners words, "feels like it". This car has defeated many supposedly faster sports racers including Brabham BT-8s and Elvas.
