The car was a street car and sold to a German in 1986. He transformed it into a race car and drove it successfully. In March 1992 I bought the Elan: Dr. Thomas Kargus. Shortly after, I had an accident in Zaandvort and the car was checked and repaired by Tony Thompson, a Lotus specialist in the UK. He fixed all technical issues and changed several things for the better, such as suspension, engine and so on. A few years later, the body was made into a light weight version. No races have been driven in 2018 and 2019 after being part of the dutch NKHTGT for several years.
