Description
RH drive replica, with Lotus title (1973) and registered in Michigan with historic plates. Frame is .049 chrome moly. Powder coated gray suspension front and rear from Triumph Spitfire. Front and rear body clams are fiberglass, with fully built inner wheel wells. Doors and lower rocker area are 16 ga. aluminum, and cowl area is carbon fiber. Paint is professionally done, PPG base/clear in black. The engine is an all-aluminum 4 cyl. Suzuki Swift twin cam, 4-valve, with dual Weber 40 DCOEs, stainless steel header and muffler that safely revs past 8,000 RPM and makes around 120 HP. Transmission is a Suzuki 5-speed with custom drive shaft and Spitfire diff. Engine has approx. 70k, with new timing belt, water pump, clutch plate and disc. Interior has a pair of new cusotm Kirkey seats with harnesses, on-board Halon 5lb. fire system, mahogany dash, and new AutoMeter gauges. Front suspension modified to use QA-1 adjustable coil over shocks, and drilled rotors. Rear has Spitfire drums and Bilstein shocks. Pedals are Lola Formula car, with twin brake master cylinders, all master cylinders are new, all lines braided SS. All fasteners are AN or SS. Wheels are original American Magnesium (made of magnesium), 13"x5" with new tires. Gas tank has been stripped and inside epoxy sealed. All wiring and plumbing is new. This car is much lighter than the Spridget based kits available, with improved suspension, more power ,and finished to a high standard. Buy this completed car for the price of a basic kit (that does not come with mechanical parts, pain, etc., etc., and labor!)
