I am selling several of my Historic Racing Cars to fund a property purchase, I only buy cars with excellent histories.
Here is a unique opportunity to purchase an unrestored original 11 with SCCA books back to 1970, correct chassis plate, original matching number FWE and brand new Burt Curtis chassis as well as the original. There is a spare rear end, scuttle and doors as well as one of the last produced Williams and Pritchard nose/bonnets. I bought this car from an ex F1 driver and it had come in the 80's to California from David Whiteside, a well known Alabama based Lotus historic racer. I contacted the Lotus eleven register and they told me that this car was originally delivered to Alfred Momo, Briggs Cunningham's mechanic. It is a DeDion rear end, swing axle front correct LeMans model. There are letters from Whiteside selling the car, Sasco systems rebuilt the engine about this time, lots of pictures of the car as the owner dismantled it. Complete with original seats, radiator, brake bottles, switches etc.
