A unique head turner with performance to more than match it looks. A completely carbon-fibre Lotus 7 replica built for eating up tarmac. Based on a fully independent chassis this car has been built to the highest specification with no cost spared. The chassis was strengthened and braced before being powder coated and panelled completely in pre-preg carbon-fibre, inside and out. A superbike R1 engine was placed far back into the chassis giving power, revs and a six speed sequential gearbox to play with. More carbon-fibre was added to complete the cockpit. Alloy shocks, big brakes and anti-roll bars were put on the corners to compliment the super-lightweight theme. Now complete, a sub 4s 0-60mph fully road-legal car is the result. A car that is comfortable, yet ballistic, on the road and still fully at home on the track or special stage. Performance: 0-60mph in 3.7s, 0-100mph in 9.5s, standing quarter in 12.1s
Completed in April 2003 this car was built specifically for speed on tarmac. As a project it was a complete success - winning it's debut event (the Sunbeach Rallysprint), now, due to the relocation of the owner, it is reluctantly up for sale.
