This car was run in Firestone livery for one year in 1996 by Patrick Racing and driven by Scott Pruett. At the end of the year, the car was painted in Visteon livery and used as a show car for the following season and this is how the car is offered. I have owned the 1995 Patrick Lola that was run in Firestone livery, have many pictures of the car and can return this 1996 chassis to the original Firestone livery at buyers request. All elements of the car have been addressed. All uprights and suspension have been disassembled, crack tested, painted and reassembled. The gearbox was torn down, converted back to road course configuration (from oval as it last ran at Fontana), crack tested and a new bevel gear and gear stack was fitted. The Cosworth XD engine, serial number XD021, is fresh from Cosworth Torrance and has not been started. In fact, the car has not run since 1996. The fuel cell was completely refreshed inclusive of a fresh fuel pump from Cosworth. The fuel control is also the proper Cosworth fuel control as run in 1996 complete with automatic boost control, torque control and no lift to shift. In short, this is a fresh single season high budget team car that has no tub damage and is exceptionally clean. The data acquisition system and dash are new Motec and use the Cosworth ECU data stream for recording all engine related data. The Motec system is more reliable than the original Pi Data system and much easier to support. The car is offered in full running condition in road course configuration.
