Description
This historic Formula Ford Lola that was manufactured in 1976 has just received major work and reconditioning. It has a Vinci-Wenz head and a rebuilt block by Parts World (NY). The SCCA approved alloy manifold was a special order from the UK and the exhaust headers made by KOOKS (George Kressing). The suspension has been rebuilt with Bilstein shocks and Heim joints. The radiator has been relocated to the nose of the car to promote better cooling. The chassis is stiffened (fifth wheel), the hoop has also been reinforced. The car has been raced only once since the rebuild and is in pristine condition.
History
This Lola was imported to the USA from the UK to race in the Formula Ford class. It has been well taken care of and has had lots of attention and care lavished on it (never any accidents). Following an engine and suspension rebuild and a relocation of the radiator to the front of the car, this LOLA is very fast, reliable and safe. It comes with a host of spares to include many gears sets, magnesium wheels, a spare mid-body section and many other parts to make your racing effort smooth and affordable. The car also has a continual and documented racing history as shown in the (4) SCCA issued log books.
