Description
1971 Lola T-240 Formula B/Atlantic, Lotus 1600 Twin Cam, Hewland FT-200, serial number HU-15. This is believed to be the last one manufactured. This is a restored original with a fresh motor. The chassis is very similar to the Lola T-330, but does not have the extra 12-gallon fuel cell on the left side of the car. It has a custom front roll hood forward of the dash panel. Radiator water pipes have been placed inside of larger pipes in the driver compartment, per SCCA requirements. The previous owner(Rob Mullaney) updated the rear wing to improve car performance. I drove this car from 1980 to 1984 in regional and west car championship races with great enjoyment. The car was very forgiving while cornering and always got feed back before going out of driver control.
