Ford Escort Twin Cam, Ex Works Cologne , RHD, July 1968, ordered from Boreham by Jochen Neerpasch, manager of the 1968 new installed motorsport department of Ford AG Köln, Germany. Was even road registered by Ford Cologne in August 1968 and afterwards uprated for FIA group 2, all documented by Ford Cologne and files of history. Perhaps one of the last never reshelled and also never welded Twin Cams of this very early square headlight type, still having its original Boreham partly handbuilt BB49 shell, never restored (except paint) , absolutly authentic interior with all the rare items of this period . Dry-sumped Twin Cam engine, brandnew Qaiffe 4.1 diff, all mechanical parts reconditioned, rare complete aluminium bootlid, double rear petrol tank, central jackings on both sides , original 1968 comp. seats with no headrests, uprated pedal box, uprated suspension front and rear, all absolutly 1968 and 1969 items, you won´t find at any other Twin Cam, as most of them were destroyed in their period or sadly robbed their history by uprating for actual historic racing . A chance to purchase an undemolished piece of Ford competition history.
