Description
This road racing Fiesta was originally developed as an SCCA SSC (Showroom Stock C) car by AER in the early 80's. It was then converted to GT-4 and ran GT-4 and EP in the 90's and 2000. It is light and fast and lots of fun! Good for racing or track schools/days. Would also be great in Solo 1 or 2 and hillclimbing. Was last run at 2 track days in 2002. New calipers, carbon pads, wheel cylinders, shoes and bearings all around were installed after the last track day. Engine is disassembled but in good to very good condition. Needs: boring, pistons/rings, crank cut and all bearings. Tranny may need synchros, definitely needs clutch (flywheel is good). Car has some rust that is not structural and is easily fixable. Chassis is ready to rock as is! Car is well sorted, but could be developed more if one wished. Has SCCA logbook and historical paperwork as well as all manuals. Lost my job and have to sell! I am heartbroken, but don't want it to just sit and rot! Car IS NOT a basket case! All parts are present and mostly usable!
